I finished the Modern Mrs. Darcy Reading Challenge! This is the first year I‘d tried this one. I also did PopSugar and I met my Goodreads goal. All I have left is to read a nonfiction in December for #Nonfiction18.

I felt so frustrated while reading this. Decades and decades of pain, suffering, injustice and not being believed. These women who suffered and lost their lives to radium poisoning, were inspiring by standing up against corporate monsters and inciting change. This story was fascinating, and equally horrifying

I loved this book about a serial killer, with the World's Fair as a backdrop. This book was like reading a Dateline episode. Creepy, dark, but so engaging.

I love books about books, and this one is a perfect example of why. Reading this book was like talking to your best friend, who is also a book nerd. So many great book recommendations, and so funny!

Stunning prose! I am such a fiction junkie, I have to force myself to fit in non-fiction, but I enjoyed every minute of listening to the author read her work. I didn't even know that I wanted to learn about hawking, but it seems that I did.
