Yeah, this was written for those like me, the childlike!

Even as a kidult, this is still a wonderful read (reread) for me. Truly a magical story with beautiful illustrations.

Cat at Night | Dahlov Ipcar

Pickpick

4 ⭐This is a re-print of a book from 1969. The artwork feels a product of its time, which means it‘s fresh, new, and exciting for modern audiences. This is a simple story of what do cats do at night. It plays up how cats can see better at night than human does. You‘ll have one illustration that shows everything dark and asks the reader to guess what the cat is doing or seeing and then the next illustration is what the

LibrarianRyan cat is doing or seeing all in bright colors. It really works for the time and the age that it‘s written for and in essence it‘s timeless and can be love generation to generation. 1y

Night and Day | Virginia Woolf

Don‘t you think a cold evening calls for a warm fire in the fireplace and a good book?

Have you read Day and Night by Virginia Woolf?

SamAnne I have it and it is one of the few books of hers I‘ve not read! 4y
LinesUponAPage @SamAnne I‘m pretty sure you aren‘t alone. I haven‘t either. First time. 😉 4y
merelybookish I have! Not my favourite Woolf but still liked it! 4y

Mehso-so

3 🌟
I can see why this book is a story time favorite but for this reader it was just so-so. Owl gets up way too early and gets to experience Day for the first time. He learns how it differs from his night, and even gets shown new things by friends. The illustrations are cute, but not award winning.
