The soundtrack of the tagged play was released in 1970 and my dad bought the album. I was 11. Somewhere in the mid 60‘s my mother became a Seventh Day Adventist and our household drastically changed. Listening to this album constantly was an act of rebellion. She HATED it. This clip popped up on IG yesterday so I thought why not share here. I still know all the words.

I think I need to clarify that I‘m a retired #longtimefed and not a current employee. I‘m writing these posts because I‘m angry and insulted that feds are being thrown so unceremoniously under the bus. Again. Sadly, this isn‘t new. It‘s just fed bashing on steroids…or ketamine.
Since Social Security is part of my pension BY LAW, I guess that makes me part of the “parasite class” now. I just want to sit under my own vine and fig tree.
pickMy last read of #NFNovember and fits so nicely with 2024 being my year of Hamilton (finally watched it on Disney+ in July and quickly became obsessed, watching it live in person when it came to my city on my birthday). This book was interesting - love learning more about the process and Lin‘s notes about each song were fantastic. Love getting into musician‘s brains and he‘s someone I wouldn‘t mind chatting with
