#MidwinterSolace #LitSolace

Spreading a little thoughtful cheer with #MondayMoments 😊
It's a very gloomy, rainy, cold day here in Derbyshire. So I'm sending out my own smiley sunshine 🌞 with a check-in.
🌞How are you all?
🌞What have you been up to?
🌞How are you feeling?

kspenmoll It‘s Tuesday, but nice to see this! I am still home from work nursing a cold/asthma -sleeping, fluids, meds, hanging out watching movies, UConn games with family. Kitties warming me up! 4d

I had to read this quickly for book club but it would have been better as a dip in and out of book. I was a bit put out to find when I googled the author after I'd finished reading that the author had actually been in Jakarta while I was reading it to do some talks and readings which finished the day before.

On World's Teacher Day, we all received a personal letter from incoming school leaders. This made me tear up. My students are thoughtful and special. #lifeasateacher #still reading

I hope it‘s not too late for me to jump on this #10beforetheend challenge. The Litsy algorithm was barely showing me this tag today. Here are 10 books I am hoping to finish before 2025. Great idea @ChaoticMissAdventures 🤩

ChaoticMissAdventures Never too late! Well January 2025 would be I guess! Good luck 🍀 2mo
BookmarkTavern The Dictionary of Sorrows is one of my favorites! 💖 2mo
MatchlessMarie @Avanders @BookmarkTavern I barely heard about it like a month ago because one of my online friends received it as a gift and posted it. Now I keep hearing great things about it 🖤 2mo

Pretty dry for a book about how our thoughts affect our physical body. I guess I was expecting something more instructive and inspirational

This is a serious case of dramatic irony starting with a character that has a lot of eyes, but can't see what's obvious.
