so-soDidn‘t enjoy this one as much as I expected. The story and the settings are unique & interesting. However, the main character and her narrative voice (too mature & sophisticated for a poor uneducated 9-year old) made it very difficult for me to engage with the book. My decision to listen to the audiobook was a mistake as I really hated the narrator and her circus of accents.
