so-so“The stars alone listen.”
This book wasn‘t for me, but I could see how others could fall in love with the style of the prose and the wartime romantic letters of enemies who cannot be together. I wished I could have read more backstory, learned more between scenes. It was hard for me to follow and I couldn‘t get rooted in the story. 2.5 stars because of the prose style. ✨✨

Technology failed me today 😡 so I quit and I‘m now having pizza, ice cream, and watching dumb movies on netflix. Here‘s what I read in May, favorites were “Everything is Horrible and Wonderful” and “The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs.” Another month of all non-fiction... hmm 🤔 #may #mayrecap #maybooks
pick+ Silent in the Moors (3rd Lady Julia Grey novel) I ended up reading these one after the other ?? I probably liked "In the Sanctuary" a little more because of the cast of characters but I liked the ending of "on the Moors for reasons ❤️ #MayBooks #JuneBooks ?
A mixed month! Two I loved - centre two, both did what good books do - took me on an adventure, to a new place and time and let me stand at the edge and observe it all! #Maybooks

pickI read this on a recommendation of a friend and also I thought it best to read it before the movie comes out 📖🎬 It was a very interesting and powerful read focusing on the main character Ronit and two other characters named Esti and Dovid and their lives in and out of the Jewish faith. #MayBooks
