Well, here we are halfway through the year and I think I need to up my reading goals a little bit. 😂

Like so many books of its type, there is some generally useful thought and a heck of a lot of filler. Should‘ve been 5-10 pages. It‘s aimed at leadership levels, I‘d be wary of anyone in leadership who got much out of it. One would hope that experience, self reflection and personal growth would have gotten you there. But then management are often some of the least capable people in an org. I wouldn‘t recommend wasting the paper this is printed on.
I met my number of books goal awhile back, but now I‘ve met both my page and hours goals! Pages are hard for me, and I only read 58,000 last year, so to beat that by December…I‘m really happy!! 🎉🎉🎉
No page or hour goals next year though!! Too stressful!!
Met my goal a lot earlier than last year!!! #goodreads
Number of books goal met! ✅
Now, I‘ve met my audiobook hours goal! ✅🎉
The only one I have left is number of pages, and I‘m at 97%. Cheers 🥂 to another great year of reading!
I‘m happy to say I haven‘t been subjected to #badbossday since 2021. This young lady, however, is learning how to be a better hostess. Half the time she runs away, but the other half she‘s curious about me. Her sister, though, is still pretty elusive. #autumnplease
Read during #RushAThon & for my 301 Leadership Foundation class. Coming off a very dry & technical Organizational Development book, this was a relief. It‘s interesting & readable & a good look at a businessperson & company succeeding by putting their people first. My group all gave it a thumbs up.
Today‘s #bookhaul from the free book table - Good to Great and Sword Art Online. Plus a cameo from the nutrition book I‘m currently reading. I should probably finish some of the books in my stack before adding any more to the pile! 😆 📚
I got promoted recently and thought I‘d do some educational reading. But all the literature was boring so I tried this 🙂
