Confession: I no longer love the name of my #NewYearWhoDis event. It echoes a meme that was part of a particular moment in time…but it‘s started to feel a little bit dated and disingenuous to me. It might even be an example of cultural appropriation? “Dis” isn‘t slang I‘d ever feel comfortable using IRL.
ANYWAY. I‘m thinking of rebranding next year. What do you think? Yea? Nay? Ideas? My best so far is #AuldLangSpine (as a nod to NYE tradition).

monalyisha Hi @RaeLovesToRead! It‘s an event that kicks off on NYE. Around Nov/Dec, I match people up depending on their particular taste. Then, you spend the first month of the New Year reading from a list of your match‘s favorite books from the previous year. The matching survey that I use is *very* thorough. It‘s a way to “meet” another Litten & join the community — one that doesn‘t require a monetary commitment. Some folks read from their lists all year! 2y
