So tempted. Think I'll probably love it? But slightly worried I'll hate it?? I feel like it's either gonna be amazing or disappointing. Pubs 9/26. #hamilfan #hamilton.
And that's a wrap for #julybookmailforme! Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Ehh, I read one Joe Gunther book, and didn't love it. Probably not. #julybookmailforme
Pushkin Vertigo is reprinting a selection of the late Frédéric Dard's crime novels in English. Looks like a fun, fast read! Pubs 9/5. (SERIOUSLY, ALL the books pub 9/5. Do all publishers assume everyone spends the entirety of Labor Day reading...??) #julybookmailforme
I'm so judgmental, but I must confess that reading about a town named "Scumble River" is not super appealing... pubs 9/5. #julybookmailforme
The first in a planned 10 book series, starring Countess Beatrice von Falklenburg who investigates a series of crimes in the environs of Prague between 1904 and 1914. Kinda interested! It's a favorite era. Pubs 9/5. #julybookmailforme
I requested this one bc I'm a big fan of Meyer's Benny Griessel series - love the way he evokes contemporary South Africa. But I didn't realize this is a standalone! Set in a post-plague future South Africa, where survivors work together to create a utopian settlement. Super intrigued! Pubs 9/5. #julybookmailforme
Pubs 9/19. Not really a Perry fan though. #julybookmailforme
The intersection of a couple things I find very interesting! (And timely.) Probably will review - pubs 9/12. #julybookmailforme
