pick#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Sorry, I was listening to this on audiobook and I didn‘t realize there were more than 20 chapters - this is the longest in death book so far, probably because of the importance of Eve losing and regaining her badge. I enjoyed the finale of this one, it was - as usual - intense. I hope we see more of Louise in later books (I think we do but can‘t quite recall) - she‘s a good match for Eve. ⬇️

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Ch.11-15: Boy, what a tough few chapters for Eve. Bowers puts up more complaints and goes to the media with wild accusations. Then she is killed and Eve is suspect # 1! Before she can get over that shock, her badge and gun are taken and she‘s suspended. This is devastating for Eve who feels like her identity is taken from her. Roarke will need to be there to help her through it even if he has to give her tough love.⬇️

She also happens to be a top surgeon‘s niece which could be suspicious. Eve interrogates different doctors at a fancy party and pisses someone off enough that they send a droid to warn her off the case.⬇️
