#2022Book5
This book fell into the same problem as the first book in the series: characters who should definitely know better making really stupid mistakes. And while I liked certain aspects of the mystery in this story, it bothered me that the author decided to go in the direction of letting a couple of real-life murderers slightly off the hook by including a fictional killer who "really" committed many of their crimes.

Not for me. I couldn‘t connect to the main characters and as much as I‘m into the Clutter murders, the plot was unbelievable every step of the way. Swing and a miss. ⭐️⭐️ #netgalley

#15 of my year and I absolutely love this series. Brigid Quinn is a total badass. I highly recommend them.

Caffeinated_Reader Man I love her writing. Masterman can unwind a story so perfectly. It‘s cool when you know the killer right off and the gist of the situation and stuff but are left with a ton of pieces that still don‘t fit. It‘s wonderful when writers do that. The ending was intense but excellent. Another great book! 5y

It‘s day six of #bannedbooksweek2019. Today I thought I‘d go with two nonfiction books from my TBR. #InColdBlood has been challenged due to #violence, #sexualcontent, and #obscenelanguage. #NickelandDimed crimes are #drugs, #inaccurate, #offensivelanguage, #politicalviewpoint, and #religiousviewpoint . #standforthebanned

P.S. Why, yes! That is indeed my #bannedbooks mug from #theunemployedphilosophersguild. I love their bookish goodies. 😬😁😎
