pickIt almost feels too vulnerable to review this book. How Toews was able to write this is beyond my understanding. The story is tangibly real to me. The writing is brilliant and gorgeous. It's an unequivocal pick.

saresmoore @JacqMac Same. I made it most all the way through the book without shedding a tear, but when she referred to singing "I Wonder as I Wander," I just sat there and cried for a minute. 8y
