Half Price Books - North Lamar | Austin, TX (Bookstore)

My #hpbhaul from Half Price Books North Lamar. Went there today with BFF for the first time in over a year and we had such a pleasant afternoon there. Money‘s been tight for a while so I usually just buy cheap ebooks or borrow them from the digital library, but my craving for the comfort of paper books I can hold and touch won out this time. At least they‘re half price! 💙📚

Today‘s #bookhaul from Half Price Books. When the heat index is 104 F, not much to do other than stay inside and...buy more books! 🥵 Been curious about Middlemarch and was excited to find this lovely hardcover edition for $12! Also curious to read more stories by the author of “The Yellow Wallpaper.” #hpbhaul

Eyelit Middlemarch was my pick for this month‘s book club! It‘s so good! Be prepared for LOTS of detail though 😄 6y

Well I just finished reading another super long Victorian novel—my pick was Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens. So I think I am up for this...later, after I take a break from Victorian doorstops, haha! 😅 6y
