I missed the original time for the Hour 6 Challenge, but I wanted to participate anyway.
The part of this quote that spoke to me was how she thanked her daughter for “teaching her the rest”. Everyday my daughter teaches me something new; patience, humility, how to laugh when you don‘t want to, how to trust. I‘ve never thanked her, I never thought to, she‘s only 13 months. But now I will.

That is exactly the kind of conversations you have with five-year-olds. But somehow this opening seems a bit disturbing. Like the kids have been replaced by alien copies and they are monitoring and recording your answers for the awaiting invading space army.
Actually, no, that‘s exactly what 5y/olds are like.
