I always enjoy a little mystery with my historical romance, although I didn‘t quite feel the chemistry between the two main characters.

I was intrigued by the book blurb and so grabbed it from the library looking for a new romance in between my reads but I found this one to be yes a HEA, but a lackluster one.

There is intrigue and action from the chapter 1 and I found it to be an okay second chance romance but it felt lacking in comparison to what the blurb provided for me.
