I had never read any manga until I recently picked up Cat Massage Therapy (THE freaking cutest thing I‘ve ever seen!😻) and loved it. I came across this entire series in a section called Librarian‘s Pick and this is equally adorable! Calling all cat lovers, Chipper gives 2 paws up! 🐾 5⭐️

This was a cute little manga. A lonely man adopts the cat that no one wants from the store. It shows the perspective of both him and the cat as they develop their relationship and learn how to live with each other. There are silly moments that cat owners will definitely relate to. This was a perfect palette cleanser and I'll continue the series slowly as I need a light read

Kittens and toe beans!!

I would've gave this a four star except they put ads in the comic for the TV show for this comic. Bad taste. Besides that bump in the road, the story was great as usual as well as the graphics. Geoffrey who is Kanda's old piano friend is coming to visit and along the way he finds unwanted kittens. Well of course, he has to rescue them and bring them over to Kanda's house! Love the kittens!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of my favourite reads of the year so far, a seamless magical realism about love, family, and coming-of-age. #magicalrealism #heartwarming #powerfulwomen

LeahBergen I loved this one, too. 9mo

The first story about a man that buys and older cat that‘s also seen as ugly. The story is cute, but will see if I continue

This is the first volume of a manga series about an older man, recently bereaved, who adopts a cat that no one else seems to want. The story is totally charming and Fukumaru the cat is adorable!

Even more dramatic revelations in this installment! Geoffroy Lambert has the spotlight this time as we learn about his childhood and his complicated relationship with his father. We also observe the healing power of a box of kittens. AGH the kittens were so dang cute!

kwmg40 Because of your recommendation, I just started the first volume in this series. So cute! 12mo
rabbitprincess @kwmg40 Yay! It is also now a TV show in Japan! I bet that would be super cute too 😻 12mo

Second in series, Beth and Chanda are gearing up for their first dance. Trying to find perfect outfits is stressful enough (and triggers body doubts in Beth), but when Chanda gets the idea that they need dates into her head everything gets worse. Family drama goes on in the background and Chanda makes some questionable interpersonal choices that require multiple apologies. Another good installment.
