pickThis book is an intriguing exploration of grief. While it‘s marketed as humor, I personally didn‘t find it all that funny. It still has a charm to it. The author took a highly original approach to presenting themes of loss and healing.
The interactions between Alice & Ben, the unusual circumstances of their annual meetings, are very heartfelt & I enjoyed reading through them. It felt very authentic and touching.
