I‘m watching Were The World Mine, my absolute favorite Shakespeare-inspired movie. It‘s a retelling of A Midsummer Night‘s Dream about a boy who accidentally turns everyone in his homophobic town gay 😂 Plus it‘s a fabulous musical that I enjoy listening to as well.

pickBoo, I‘m out of queer Peter Pan books, what now?
This book is a queer gutter punk and kink positive tale about living a d/s lifestyle so if those things don‘t interest you it‘s best to skip this one. If they do, however, then this book brilliantly weaves the Peter Pan mythology into that world and really breaks your heart. Pan is so much better when it‘s queered. Another one I couldn‘t put down.

pickPeter Darling was utterly charming and wonderful. Basically a sequel to Peter Pan that‘s SUPER gay and satisfying.
I dug out another queer retelling of Peter Pan to follow it just because I‘m not ready to leave the world yet. Lost Boi is supposed to be a really gritty queer punk retelling so this might still be a 180 degree turn from Peter Darling but I‘m excited to read it any way.
