Power is back on at my house so I am finally in the AC again! #Hurricane #Irma damaged a lot of places. This gas station was back up and running with precious gas today.

The Aftermath | Rhidian Brook

Our home survived intact. Lots of tree branches in my yard that a wonderful family is never met stopped by and cut it all up for us. This is a tree across the power lines on a road behind us. Assuming this is why I have no power.

Annl I had power until yesterday afternoon and then it went out. It will be back by Sunday, lots of clean up, but all safe. 7y

CocoReads @Debiw781 I actually understand that. I'm my friends case, they've been prepping for 2 weeks so I think they'll be fine, especially where they are. I'm my aunts case, she had an open invite as soon as we saw where it was headed. And she's not working so could have come up here at any point. 7y

EchoLogical @Debiw781 I left yesterday and met my husband in NC. I didn't think anything would really come of it but honestly, I got tired of my family harassing me. The stress of it all has really gotten to me and I've had a headache for literally the past week. How are you holding up? 7y

Debiw781 @EchoLogical My family was giving me a headache over it too. Meanwhile my husband's family freaking if we decided to leave. We're in a pretty secure place with friends right now. Glad you're safe! 7y
