pickI have never read anything by this author before but I really enjoyed it! I also don‘t read very much historical fiction. This was a selection in the Fresh Fiction Box Not to Miss several months ago and I‘m really glad I finally got around to reading it. This novel really displays the struggles that wagon trains faced in the 1800‘s. I would definitely consider reading more books by this author! #ffboxnottomiss

My #FFBoxNotToMiss arrived just in time for holiday travel reading! I think a few of these may end up as gifts. Victoria by Daisy Goodwin was so large they didn't even need stuffing this time! The cover for Lone Wolf by Sara Driscoll really pops, and the two mm romances seem sweet. Pretty great haul this month, even came with buttons!!

so-soThis was in my #FFBoxNotToMiss this month! This book was apparently #2 in a series, & I didn't realize that because the ARC didn't tell me! Oops. Which is where most of my confusion stems from. A quick read, funny, had a WTF ending, but was all over & confusing for me at times to follow. I couldn't connect to the main character either. Would probably recommend new readers start with the first book though, that has some amazing sounding reviews.
