Again it‘s so hard to choose! I read a lot of amazing books this year!
Amy from The Passage it is! Abandoned by a teenage mom at a convent, then kidnapped, sent to an experimental lab... Things are really rough for this kid, and it only gets worse. This book is dark and scary and beautifully written. I can‘t wait to read the rest of the series.

A Traveller in Time | Alison Uttley

This year, add me to the list of people fascinated by Mary, Queen of Scots. 👑 She featured prominently in the tagged book and popped up in Elizabeth Wein's The Pearl Thief. (I may have also watched some episodes of the teen historical soap opera The Reign 😳.) And I'm excited about the upcoming film about her starring Sairose Ronan.
