The tagged one and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Oscar Wilde is simply a brilliant writer, perfection! Stoner is well-balanced, soft, beautiful, poignant, sad, and simplistic. #faveclassic

ephemeralwaltz Loved Dorian Gray!! I've recently enjoyed Wuthering Heights - complex narratuva structure, fleshed out characters and a dark, passionate plot. Modern classics I love: The Haunting of Hill House, Lolita, The Road, to name a few 🤓 7y
CoffeeNBooks The Awakening, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Macbeth. You didn't say just one classic, did you? 🤣🤣 7y

#septphotochallenge today is #faveclassic #classicbook and I chose this one because I could read it over and over and never get bored. I also deeply love Austen novels, Milton, and P.B. Shelley. #somethingforsept #somethingforseptember

My long time fave classics will always be the original Oz stories.... But I can't deny my absolute love for Dorian Gray.... If I did that it would be an absolute injustice to my soul. This is only one of my three copies of this novel, but it is my favourite copy

For #somethingforsept my #faveclassic has to be Jane Eyre. This quote perfectly sums up the character's defiant spirit. I love that she didn't bind herself to social convention and was the heroine of her own story. ❤️

Argh! I cannot find my copy of my #faveclassic for #somethingforsept. But here's a snapshot from Amazon of one of the best books I refused to read for far too long. Glad I finally decided to read it a few years back. It is definitely a classic.

Chelsey I can't get past the movie. It's it better? 8y
Hollie @Chelsey the book is so much better! 8y
raelaschoenherr Love this one too! 8y
Chelsey I might have to give it a go then! 8y
