The audio is really good too, 2 separate narrators, both are very animated & convey the characters well. Really digging the story so far.

panI wish I didn‘t read this. Honestly, this is the first and only book that I just started skimming toward the end.
It feels like most of the chapters are just filler. Nothing important happens in the entire book. I have no connection to any character. It just felt empty. I wouldn‘t recommend it. .5/5

so-soThe only reason I read this book is because of the apples 🍎 on the cover. It was bad! A redo of Cinderella and boy it was too long, childish in the conversations would last forever 😒. I did get 2 bingo spots for #ISpyBingo January and April. Getting there! pickOMG! I loved this book! It‘s like a dark fantasy romance, where you‘re rooting for villain of the story, but is he really a villain? I loved this world and the characters. I‘m so glad I read this.
Unbeknownst to me this is a spin off of her Kingdom of the Wicked series which I‘ve never read. It looks like it has characters from that world, but can be read as a standalone. It hinted at some stuff that happened, but explained enough to not be lost
pick4.8 ⭐️ well damn… I like that a lot better than I thought would. But seriously, what is up with all these cliffhangers. Mind you, this one‘s not as bad as some of the others have been as of late. Anyways, this is a great book. Definitely got some action, some minor romance, and like one spicy scene. But the betrayal… wow, little intense.
