This was a cute book that I giggled through. Written in letters telling us a story through the writers eyes. One bingo spot for #ISpyBingoJanuary. @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks #ReadAway24 @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES
I have to say I don't usually love stories that take on social issues so directly, but this one was enjoyable! The main character is so likable and the cooking competition reality show was a lot of fun. And such good food descriptions! Thanks to @MeganAnn and her #AuldLangSpine list for bringing it to my attention! Also thanks to @monalyisha !
Day 12 of the #wintergames photo challenge - Family
I‘m sharing an ebook from my Kindle I haven‘t read yet with the word Family in it. This book sounds interesting.

4 ⭐ Life gets in the way. Families drift. And when a child realizes that their family is drifting away from the family table and eating together, they hatch a plan to get everyone back together. This story is marvelous, and the way the author uses color to show depression morphing into happiness is fantastic. Overall, Peter Reynolds has another fantastic book in his collection.
I enjoyed reading this book because it is important for children to know however their family looks that is perfectly okay. I also like the style of the illustrations, the illustrator uses texture to convey the events of the story.
This book is about how families can look different and that is okay. The illustrations in the book use value to represent how all families can be light and dark. The illustrator also uses space to show small or large families are.
