This was super campy and predictable, but fun. In Asheville,NC residents don‘t turn to the government during the zombie apocalypse, they turn to their HOA. 😂

For the second day of this game, I chose Boy 7, from Mirjan Mous. I read this book a few years ago and found it very thrilling at the time!

After finishing #Darkdawn last night (review for the #nevernightchronicles will be up tomorrow) my #spinthewheel app decided I should go back to my teen years where my adoration of #rachelcaine shaped who I became today.
Now, I've read the #morganvillevampires , #weatherwardenseries and the first two books of #stillhouselake
But I have never read #redletterdays or #revivalist series. So let's begin on #workingstiff

I just finished Verity last night. It was such an ominously, creepy book, without being too scary. The main protagonist is a writer and I really liked the writer process and aspect. The creepy house/creepy family was also perfect. I found it fun to read and I just zoomed through. 😄
The twist at the end was not too difficult to figure out but still, what the protagonist did was like, wwhhaattt? 😬
Overall, great read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book had everything I look for in an #exciting read: unexpected #twists, complicated characters, surprise factors, and an interesting #premise. This was a great, easy read that held my interest from page one through the end. #suspense

Had a successful weekend at a Toy Fair this past weekend in Reno! It was exhausting, but I got to hand-sell lots of books, which is my favorite type of sales! People just tell you what they're looking for, & you show them all around the booth & hand select the perfect fits. Indestructibles were the biggest hit at this show. I even got to demonstrate attempting to rip it on stage and then spraying it down with water to prove they're 100% washable!

AlaMich Sounds like a good time! 😊 6y
ohyeahthatgirl Those were always a hit when I was a bookseller. I did have one parent chew on one to test it out. Gross, but it endured. 6y
