I changed this from Pick to So-So. It‘s not a terrible book, but it just didn‘t flow the way I thought it should and was just a little far fetched. I was very disappointed with the ending as well.

There are a lot of twists and turns in this book. I read it in one day and couldn‘t put it down. I definitely was not expecting it to end the way it did and it left me wondering what happened.

This book had everything I look for in an #exciting read: unexpected #twists, complicated characters, surprise factors, and an interesting #premise. This was a great, easy read that held my interest from page one through the end. #suspense

Honestly, I didnt enjoy this one. I am not much for reading psychological thrillers but I thought this one sounded intriguing. Unfortunately it didnt do it for me. There are a lot of postive reviews on goodreads so maybe it just wasnt my thing. I found it slow and rather boring. And I couldnt get into the characters.
If your a fan of this author and or thrillers you might love it.

I feel that my newest audiobook is a case of #RightNextToTheRightOne. A #BlameItOnLitsy request, so I was hoping for good things. But after a listen, I couldn‘t care less if it‘s good or bad - the narrator has a Yorkshire accent that reminds me of home, and the MC‘s boyfriend has my son‘s name 🙌

Did you ever consider house swapping? I would think twice after reading this book. A psychological thriller about power and revenge which is a nightmare for all involved. Excellent writing. Plot-driven with twists and turns that hold your attention until the last page. I look forward to reading more by #ClaireDouglas and highly recommend this book. Thanks to LibraryThing and Harper/Collins for ARC for an honest review.

A great psychological thriller filled with lots of twists.

After suffering from a miscarriage, Libby and her husband Jamie decided to do a house-swap with the Heywoods after receiving a flyer. While at the Heywoods, strange things start to happen causing Libby to think about her past and the dark secrets she is hiding.

While I read thrillers all year long, summer is my favorite time to read them. I always take along a book on trips to the pool or the beach, so this towel has seen a lot of books in it's life. 😊 #ReadingResolutions #BookandBeachTowel #PhotoChallenge #arc

It all started with Libby saving a child at school and then life seems to take on a life of its own for Libby. A holiday house swap is just the thing to help take her mind off events. What could possibly go wrong with this senario? This book has so many twists. A compelling read you won't want to miss

This is the first book by Claire Douglas I've read but it definitely won't be my last. Normally I can guess where the plot is heading within a few chapters. Not with this book, the twist was one I didn't see coming, and I thought it was such an ingenious idea but it didn't stop there... just when I thought she had neatly wrapped up all loose ends she went and wrote that ending!!! ...seriously?! It is well worth a read you won't be disappointed.
