I changed this from Pick to So-So. It‘s not a terrible book, but it just didn‘t flow the way I thought it should and was just a little far fetched. I was very disappointed with the ending as well.

I listened to Last Seen Alive, an engaging mystery with a lot of twists. I'll read more by the author. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
My first Claire Douglas and it won't be my last. This book had everything I want in a thriller, twists that leave me saying wtf?!...secrets.... bad people....lies...an unputdownable read that had me captivated from the start and saying "omg wtf" right up to the very end. ⭐⭐⭐⭐#clairedouglas #lastseenalive #tea_sipping_bookworm #litsy #goodreads #amazonkindle #thestorygraph #thriller #bookqueen #bookstagram
There are a lot of twists and turns in this book. I read it in one day and couldn‘t put it down. I definitely was not expecting it to end the way it did and it left me wondering what happened.
Started and finished this in less than a day-I found it really suspenseful and the book just flew by!
Honestly, I didnt enjoy this one. I am not much for reading psychological thrillers but I thought this one sounded intriguing. Unfortunately it didnt do it for me. There are a lot of postive reviews on goodreads so maybe it just wasnt my thing. I found it slow and rather boring. And I couldnt get into the characters.
If your a fan of this author and or thrillers you might love it.

I feel that my newest audiobook is a case of #RightNextToTheRightOne. A #BlameItOnLitsy request, so I was hoping for good things. But after a listen, I couldn‘t care less if it‘s good or bad - the narrator has a Yorkshire accent that reminds me of home, and the MC‘s boyfriend has my son‘s name 🙌
Got a lovely surprise #FeedAReader package today from @Kappadeemom ! I love everything you sent! The Golden Girls shirt is so awesome lol. I can‘t wait to utilize this cookbook and dive into all of these awesome books! The unicorn pops are so funny 🦄 hehe. I just got to the WTF moment in this book. It might end up being one of my favorites of the summer!
Came home from Daytona dance competition, unpacked, washed clothes, repacked and drove 3 hours to another city for work tomorrow. I‘m exhausted but can‘t put this down!
Did you ever consider house swapping? I would think twice after reading this book. A psychological thriller about power and revenge which is a nightmare for all involved. Excellent writing. Plot-driven with twists and turns that hold your attention until the last page. I look forward to reading more by #ClaireDouglas and highly recommend this book. Thanks to LibraryThing and Harper/Collins for ARC for an honest review.

A great psychological thriller filled with lots of twists.
After suffering from a miscarriage, Libby and her husband Jamie decided to do a house-swap with the Heywoods after receiving a flyer. While at the Heywoods, strange things start to happen causing Libby to think about her past and the dark secrets she is hiding.
Starting this one today. Will be published in July 2018.

While I read thrillers all year long, summer is my favorite time to read them. I always take along a book on trips to the pool or the beach, so this towel has seen a lot of books in it's life. 😊 #ReadingResolutions #BookandBeachTowel #PhotoChallenge #arc
Seeing as I don‘t have work until this afternoon, I‘m going to spend this morning working my way through a few Chapters.
Libby Hall needs to hide, to escape from everything for a while. Which is why the house swap is a godsend. The chance for Libby and her husband Jamie to exchange their tiny Bath flat for a beautiful haven on the wild Cornish coast. But before they can begin to heal their fragile marriage, Libby makes some disturbing discoveries about the house. And soon the peace and isolation begin to feel threatening. How alone are they?
It all started with Libby saving a child at school and then life seems to take on a life of its own for Libby. A holiday house swap is just the thing to help take her mind off events. What could possibly go wrong with this senario? This book has so many twists. A compelling read you won't want to miss
This is the first book by Claire Douglas I've read but it definitely won't be my last. Normally I can guess where the plot is heading within a few chapters. Not with this book, the twist was one I didn't see coming, and I thought it was such an ingenious idea but it didn't stop there... just when I thought she had neatly wrapped up all loose ends she went and wrote that ending!!! ...seriously?! It is well worth a read you won't be disappointed.
