pickEnjoyed the author‘s writing style!! Great descriptions of scenery & very good character development & growth. I grew up in North Georgia, so I enjoyed mention of local towns & appreciate “off the beaten path” details. Can picture these scenes unfolding in many of the areas I have hiked & enjoyed myself..... I like a book that wraps up nicely w/no loose ends ~ I felt like the ponytail man, truck,.... was left hanging??

Supernatural creatures amidst a historical background filled with skilled sword fighters sounds like a wonderful follow-up. 😆 An anime series began simulcasting this Fall season, so I figured I should read up to watch up.

How to describe this? A historical type of Battle Royale set in a Lord of the Rings type universe 🤔😆 Three factions all at war with eachother: the good, bad and evil. These factions comprise of locals (humans, elves, dwarves, ghouls) and non-locals (transported historical figures).
Confusing, yes. But I'm gonna give it a try because this series is by the same guy who created Hellsing manga (one of faves). #manga #drifters
