Really well researched and interesting to read. There was too much scene-setting of historical markers that weren‘t relevant to Margaret‘s life. I was drawn to the book because I loved the musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown with Debbie Reynolds, and I bought the book at the Titanic Museum in Missouri. She was never even called Molly, so that‘s just a small taste of how many things about her life and personality were incorrect.

LOVED this one! I live in Denver and it was so interesting to read about how it was during the time the novel is set. Compulsively readable, I could not put it down. Excellent writing, with nothing repetitive, the pacing and length of the novel are impeccable, there is not a single boring page or character. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"If I was going to kill myself," Plath continued, "I'd leave a note just to get a few last digs in. Insult the guy who took me to prom. Give my parents one last guilt trip. Criticize my ex-husband's penis. Make it count, you know? It's not like you'd have anything to lose."

I really feel this ???

I can't even remember why I purchased this - probably on a whim... but it turned out to be a riveting read. Did not expect to be so drawn into this crime story.

The first half of this romance is a bit slow, and if it wasn‘t for our bookclub I likely wouldn‘t have finished it. However, the second half picks up and you start to root for Jasper and Drew to find their happily ever after. The beginning was a bit too tied up in family drama and the romance wasn‘t believable at first. But I became fans of it as it progressed. And it had a very sweet ending.

Drew is struggling to cope with losing her beloved grandmother while running her grandma‘s bookshop when bestselling romance author Jasper Williams walks through the door.
There were things I liked: their exploring Colorado, them actually getting to know each other, him helping her grieve, POCs
Things I hated: we get it Jasper‘s hot, miscommunication trope x 2, the reveal filled me with rage

"I wait, browsing the stacks, thinking that the library is both the bookstore‘s enemy and our friend. They have everything here—why would anyone ever need to buy a book? On the other hand, there is nothing like the library to awaken a reader to the endless possibilities of the written word."

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!) Feel free to join in!
