pickI‘m usually not a fan of second books in trilogies, but this sequel to My Heart Is a Chainsaw was fantastic! It was scary and a geeky nod to slasher film aficionados.
It‘s four years later, and Jade has just returned to Proofrock. Dark Mill South, an indigenous serial killer, escaped transport the same day. As a snow storm drops in, people drop dead. Could this inventive killer know even more about slasher movies than Jade?

Megabooks @TrishB he likes to feature dead elk in this book. If I remember there might have been some poisoned ones in MHIAC. No animal cruelty in this one. There‘s a moose wandering around but he lives. A lot of human gorey horror in this trilogy, but it didn‘t bother me. @Cinfhen 2y
