so-so#Readingoceania2024 #samoa Although the plot is contrived and the pacing erratic, the main characters/narrators had charm enough for me to keep reading. Plus, the invention of the stories around Robert Louis Stevenson and Mary Shelly was a nice addition. I even learned a bit about Samoa.

Well, unfortunately my mental health took a major nose dive and most of my readathon plans went right out the window. All I‘ve felt like doing that isn‘t trying to keep up with school and work has been reading Star Trek: DS9 fanfic, with the occasional trip into one of my actual books. But at least I‘m reading I guess.
