I didn‘t think it could get better than Loreth Anne White‘s first book on Angie Pallorino, however, this was still as juicy and intriguing as The Drowned Girls imo! maybe even more so?? I am officially obsessed with this author 🤗

I took another grubby-but-warm #audiowalk to get some exercise, finish the tagged book (which was great), and scope out the Korean grocery store near the footpath. For years I thought it was just a gift store, but it turns out they‘ve got heaps of delicious food—including a whole gochujang section! Whee! Despite the many tubs on offer, though, I couldn‘t find one stronger than Level 3 (Medium). Hopefully that‘ll be hot enough for me.

I liked the story; however it I didn't feel real. It is told from 3 POVs, but mainly from Claire's POV. Her husband Chris lotsy his job during the recession and was out of work for a year. He fell into a deep depression and though he now has a new job they no longer talk. He travels 4/5 days a week and when home works. This had left Claire alone and she seeks police with Daniel a police officer. Though the relationship is platonic they are ⬇️

I read Covet, made it halfway through The Last Angel Warrior and a little over 1/3 into Heaven's River. I had intended to read different books but I just never got to them.

I read for a bit more than six hours yesterday thanks to my audiobook, so I've got a good #25inFive buffer going into the weekend.

I also had a terrible moment this morning where I couldn't remember if I paused my timer after I put my book down last night. Thankfully, I did.

This is a collection of images that represents Officer Blake Herro from 30 Seconds Before, the prequel to 30 Seconds. But, of course, he‘s in both novellas. He makes good pasta, enjoys whiskey and football, and has a nice library. 😉
