While I enjoyed the humor of this story it was a little difficult for me to follow at times. I sort of felt like I was reading someone‘s inside joke. I‘m really looking forward to the show on Amazon because I think I‘ll finally really get it!

Not my favorite nonfiction by Barbara Kingsolver, but it was certainly an education about a piece of my state‘s history and an inspiration as I have been a part of Arizona‘s first teacher walkout. Definitely read this if you like to read about feminism. 💪 🍎

This is my second Kerouac book & I don't know how I feel about it quite yet. I find his writing style sometimes difficult to follow, w/ run on sentences & incoherent babble. I'm taking into account the fact he was piss drunk 1/2 the time, lol! Love to hear people's thoughts/reviews!! Chime in!
