I found a new book podcast! Genna interviews people about formative books from their past.
This was a delightful discussion, and I can‘t wait to see what books come up next. #BookPodcasts
This was a pretty cool little book. A teen accused of a crime he didn't commit is sent to a correctional facility where the kids dig a hole each day. Lots of well-crafted, subtle foreshadowing that comes together nicely as the truth of the area and Stanley's family are slowly revealed.
Holes by Louis Sachar (1998). This book explains a journey in a juvenile direction camp where they dig holes all day and end up learning new things about themselves and the camp.
It is a classic adventure that can be enjoyed from all age groups. This story has a great lesson throughout the whole book.
