so-soThis dark mother-daughter, cat & mouse revenge story left a bad taste in my mouth. The writing is good, and it sure was a page-turner. But I found this story horrifying and unsettling, and not in fun way. As it becomes apparent that this is a story of a cycle of abuse, it became really sad and unsatisfying. Not for me.
