Thanks @Eggs for the #TLT #ThreeListThursday tag! 🤗
Hard to narrow it down to 3 but:
1️⃣ The tagged book is set in Kauai & I love the combo of memoir, science/plants & history. 🌺
2️⃣ The View From the Cheap Seats-Neil Gaiman essays, many about writing & books—what‘s not to love? ✍️🖤
3️⃣ I‘ll Be Gone in the Dark: Amazing true crime (I had to read it in daylight) but the whole story around Michelle McNamara & the Golden State Killer, wow! 😱
#SoaringScores #catchup
Kauai is one of my favorite places & this book is a favorite too. It‘s about the author‘s #JourneyToTheIsland to work at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens there. 🌺
Even an overcast day couldn‘t make the Singapore Botanic Gardens any less spectacular!! ♥️♥️♥️ Fair Warning lovely Littens: brace for a *slew* of gardening books as soon as our feet hit the ground as our container *should* be arriving in port TODAY after a weird jaunt through Karachi (India to Singapore via Pakistan... sure...🤔). Cross *everything* nothing‘s broken, damaged or stolen and watch this space, the limbo is almost over!!! 😊😊😊
Love the illustrations and so far it‘s been very interesting. Nice that you can read it in order or skip around as different plants interest you.

It was humid and hazy this weekend, so aside from some patio sitting--giving Max some yard time, I didn't spend much time with a book and nature. Instead I have two non-fiction books about nature. I'm currently reading The Plant Messiah and the tagged book is a personal favorite--about a woman who moves to Kauai to work at the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Both are interesting reads. 🌺🌿

Trees of paradise: Exquisite illustrations of the tropical palm On December 15, 1868, Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius (1794-1868), Professor of Botany at the University of Munich and director of the Royal Botanic Garden, was carried to his grave in a coffin covered with fresh palm leaves.
This is a gorgeous agenda with 52 stunning nature illustrations by #MarjoleinBastin -- I'm going to use them for #artjournaling! #planner #AndrewsMcMeel
