I will be honest, the fact that it's called Sorcerer's Stone and not Philosopher's Stone on here annoys me quite a bit, but ah well. These are the ultimate #bookssetinschool for #booktober and I'm sure anyone who has read them (which should be everyone) has experienced extreme envy for the lucky people who got to go to Hogwarts. My best birthday present yet has been my mum taking me to the Warner Bros Studios to see everything first hand.

Written before 1950, these might not hold up now in their original form. There were revised version published a few years ago. To my 8 years old self in the 1970s in Canada, these read like exotic tales. #booktober #bookssetinschool #setinaschool

#bookssetinschool This book was absolutely amazing. Great storytelling and a story that forces people to look past their discomfort. Bullying happens and it's happening all around us, for reasons much more petty than the instance in this book. Definitely a book I recommend for middle grade and high school students who sometimes need to be reminded to passionate and empathetic. #octophotochallenge #booktober We need to read more and fight less
