I made my first drop this morning for #booksontherail in Sydney. And let me tell you I was anything but stealthy. Has anyone else done this or its equivalent (like #booksonthesubway)? Can you teach me stealth?

Heather_Reads @Lindy I posted on Instagram to say, "hey, keep a look out for this book". But I lacked stealth in actually leaving it. I wanted to leave it without people seeing me - so hard at a busy train station. 8y
Lindy @Heather_Reads I guess if you try to set it down casually and then walk away, good Samaritans might run after you to give it back! 8y
Heather_Reads @Lindy That was one of my main concerns. I had to hang around and wait between trains so there wouldn't be so many people around. I was about 15mins late for work today 😳 8y

Cinfhen @MicheleinPhilly 😂I'm not REALLY a germaphobe, but I've ridden enough NYC subways to be a little skittish...It's still an awesome concept 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻but I'll take my chances with library books😉 8y
ultrabookgeek @MicheleinPhilly @Cinfhen my coworkers made fun of me, calling it a red flag book, a joke from Seinfield. They're worried people read it in the bathroom and I'm reading a bathroom book lol 😂 so you all have a point. 8y
