pickA #graphicnovel about three friends who like working on cars. It's drawn with ballpoint pen and peppered with Spanish phrases and references to lowrider culture. This was one of the #bluebonnetbooks for 2016-2017. I don't remember having to read the Bluebonnet Books as a kid but when working at the library, I was impressed with the great selection of books on these lists. Kids got really excited about reading and voting on these books.
