Today I was over two hours late getting him lunch, but despite dementia trying to tell his mind otherwise, he knew I‘d come through. This is a modern retelling of Jane Eyre in graphic novel format. JE has long been my favorite novel so I was a little leery, but I needn‘t have been. The art is beautiful and the story, while not an exact match to the original, is true to the spirit. A very enjoyable, quick read.
