pickI enjoyed this book that follows the lives of six people/groups - each with a strongly held system of beliefs that shape their day to day lives (be that a “good” death, ghosts, a young earth, or UFOs.) Like others I too felt most invested in the sections on the death doula (Annie) and Katrina. There is a lot of interesting “food for thought,” however I would have liked if author‘s reflections were presented a little more cohesively.

My daughter‘s coach & mentor said this to his players. It stuck with them & CJ showed over & over again how much he believed in my daughter. I don‘t know if he got this from someone else or if this was all him, but it is the quote that comes to mind whenever I think of him and when asked for a quote for belief/believe. 💙🏐💙
