I thought I would listen to this audiobook because it‘s due back to the library on Tuesday. I got to the 2nd CD and the author‘s characters are discussing The Oppressor and The Oppressed, a Woke Liberal concept that I don‘t buy into. Decided to research the author and found out she refuses to allow a Hebrew translation for Israeli publishers. How racist is that? So tired 💤 of this garbage! Hypocrite!

I read #NormalPeople in 2017 and I struggled a lot, and I‘m thinking of trying it again now that I‘m a bit closer to the target group. I liked BWWAY because of the WILD conversations about communism, sex and authors. Hilarious. Rooney‘s style is still quite pretentious.
I bought #SallyRooney ‚s new book on Tuesday during my short trip to the western city of Münster, and I agree with this wholeheartedly. There is great buzz on twitter & Instagram, and multiple bookstores in London opened early to allow customers to buy the book in the morning. It reminds me a bit of the Harry Potter hype.
