I'm late to the party, I know!

I absolutely adored this novel. It is beautiful. The writing is outstanding, and the characters are so intriguing. I genuinely felt like I was exploring the marsh with Kya. A stunning story about loneliness, unlikely friendship, prejudice, racism, sexism, and nature.
I loved every single chapter.

I also got "To Kill a Mockingbird" vibes from this!

#weeklyforecast This is my library haul so I thought I‘d include my dad‘s reading in my report as keeping him in books is a big part of my library goals (#allnonfiction #allthetime) The Mary Rose and Jungle of Stone are for him - the rest are for me. I will try Cryptonomicon but I may be burning out on my Year of SFF. Five Go Feasting is a cookbook - I think I saw this on @LeahBergen who is always tempting me with books! ⬇️

Yes, apparently I am now one of those people who use my ereader as a bookmark. I wanted to take both of my books to work tonight in case it is slow 😂😂

jackilynn @BillBlume I generally always bring my ereader & print book wherever I go but this is a 1st using it as a bookmark. I switched back to my old Nook for a bit & I don't have a case for it anymore so into the book it goes lol 7y
