I could not stop listening, I was just so compelled. I first heard about this case from the show How I Escaped My Cult. The author was one of the people interviewed for the show. This is much more of a deep dive into not just the case, but the church, and the Leonard family.

GingerAntics It is very well written, and I really enjoyed the discussion of how Lucas‘s and Christopher‘s father deconstructed from the cult and started to realise the truth about his former church. I feel like the true perpetrator of every atrocity that ever happened in that church, Tiffanie, got off with one of the lightest sentences. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 1mo
GingerAntics Neither of their parents would have ever touched their sons had it not been for her madness. Don‘t even get me started on the debacle that was the death of Tiffanie‘s father, Jerry. #SusanAshline #WithoutAPrayer #cult #HighControlReligiousGroup (edited) 1mo

Characters weren't really fleshed out and can also be seen pretty stereotypical.

This was a real slasher, atmosphere was awesome and I adored the setting too. This had so much action that at some point I started to hope some slower moment where characters could make plans.

I appreciate how hard it was to guess how everything was going to end but the reason is obvious after reading the author's note.

This was a fun read!

(2016) After 200 years of peace, the space navy has become more of a social club than a fighting force. So when ex-Sergeant Roger Rogers finds himself forced to reenlist he expects hours of unprofitable time-wasting. His old ship is more chaotic than ever, but when an actual crisis looms, he may have to take his job seriously. The comedy is a little broad for my taste--too many body-function jokes--but the satire of bureaucracy is frequently sharp

Incredible. Combining the world of internet sleuthing and lost to found person-from USA to Ireland, the ‘net forms a bond. Four narrators, with secrets and sensitivities. I recommend listening to the Audiobook. Combine Lotzs‘ excellent narrative with narrators truly immerses as the plot plays out.

Still sick as a dog so written review again. This graphic novel tells the tale of how Victor (later known as Mr. Freeze) meets Nora and starts a blooming relationship. Only one thing that's wrong, Nora has a deadly illness and Victor doesn't know about it. I love the illustrations throughout and the story line is good. I would love to see a another book like this where it shows how Victor becomes Mr. Freeze.
