Kate Healey has not disappointed me yet! Her Olympus, Inc series is an insta-buy for me. Greek mythology inspired modern-day romances set in and around an imaginary magazine publishing company. Love, Laodice is the second book in the second three-book arc, after Ask Cassandra and before XO, Xena (can't wait!)

Lauredhel Laodice and Telfer from the Bridal magazine team up as an engaged couple to report on a retreat for engaged couples. Things seem a bit fishy from the start, and as they dig deeper and deeper quite a few shenanigans ensue (includes peril and death, though not of a MC). Steamy sex scenes, but not so many that you get bored with it.

The world connects with Cassandra's story, and Cassandra/Laodice/Xena are of course sisters.

The author has definitely proved they can write well in two completely different genres!
