Miles is hesitant to catch feelings, terrified of being caught because of a past relationship. Charlie is in an engagement set up by his parents that he's desperate to escape. There is a great queer community that works together to get these two their happy ending

pickThis was really good, I was into it. Steampunk Red Riding Hood where “Little Red” fights werewolves, vampires, and monsters alike. Super fast paced and action packed. My only complaint was that it wasn‘t longer! Will definitely keep reading the series and check out of some Melanie‘s other work. 4.25/5

pickI‘m grateful that this great debut is first in a series: A Variety Palace Mystery. Walsh has given us a fascinating story, great characters, and surprising twists, particularly at the end. Set in Victorian London, the titular character, Rose, is found hanging in the Adelphi Arches. The police dismiss the death as a suicide. Minnie Ward and the private detective Albert Easterbrook investigate and find evil lurking in private men‘s clubs. Loved it!
