This year, I‘ve been making my way through the #VMCBookClub hosted by @viragopress and have loved each book they‘ve picked thus far! I‘ll hopefully be starting, ‘Their Eyes Were Watching God‘ by Zora Neale Hurston this week. I vaguely remember reading this in high school, so, I‘m looking forward to re-reading this classic.

Hurston‘s writing has influenced several authors, including: Zadie Smith, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison and Alice Walker.

Working my way through each of these (I‘m hoping I‘ll finish all of them by the end of the month). I‘ve made a dent in each, except for ‘Crewe Train‘ which I just started for #VMCBookClub. Really enjoying each; and so far would recommend all! I just found out @DeweysReadathon is this weekend, so I think I‘m going to participate, it will definitely help with my April TBR!

catebutler @batsy They host it on Instagram and also on their website. They usually announce the month‘s book around the 1st of each month and then do a little discussion on IG. I‘ve really enjoyed the ones they‘ve picked so far. If you‘re not on IG much you can sign up for their monthly newsletter via their website and it will let you know the book too. 7y
