pickWowza!! I absolutely couldn‘t put this genuinely jaw-dropping, gasp-out-loud-inducing thriller down! I can see why this was an option for #BookOfTheMonth for this month! The book opens with the titular return of Elizabeth “Ellie” Black who has been missing for two years. The lead detective, Chelsey Calhoun, following in her adopted father‘s steps, focuses on finding the perpetrator, risking her own personal life. Twisting plot & great characters!
