At 509 pages this seemed overly long. I liked the mystery but I think it could have been shorter. This was Raybourn's first published book, so maybe she was still finding her style. #AlmostAChunksterChallenge #20in4 @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65

#JingleShelves #currentread @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @bookloo this is my current read. I started this early this morning. A recommendation from a friend. & I see lots & lots of Litsy love for this one 💕💕💕
After reading N.K. Jemisin's amazing conclusion to "The Broken Earth" series, I'm dealing with a serious book hangover. With that in mind, I've wanted to revisit Stephen King's The Gunslinger for a while now, so this seems the perfect time to do it.
The Gunslinger has always had one of my favorite opening lines. Seeing them on my nook makes me realize just how long it's been since I last walked with Roland.

Heard so many great things about this book. I really enjoyed the main character, but I feel like it could have been edited down #toolong
