MaleficentBookDragon @DestinyMorna I get it. I do think #BOTM is great for romances. I think that is why my friend @CaringLoudly joined. Her two favorite genres are romance and literacy fiction (though I guess this is a category not genre) so she usually finds more appealing options than I have of late. I‘d love to do Jenny Lawson‘s #strangelingsbookclub but is it out of my price range right now. (edited) 10mo

The Woman In The Green Dress | Tea Cooper

I didn't like this quite a well as the last book I read by this author. I really liked the storyline and characters from the 1853 timeline but wasn't into the 1918 timeline. I wish the book had focused on the first plot and done more justice to those characters. Dividing the story meant we got the beginning of the interesting plot and the end but none of the meat in the middle. Soft pick.

I liked this slow burn, Gothic novel. My biggest problem was keeping track of all the male characters, which was important in order to follow the plot. Might‘ve been easier in print, vs. audio.

Next up on audiobook. I listened to Furiously Happy earlier this year and laughed my ass off so decided to listen to Jenny Lawson's other books. The past couple of weeks have been rough mentally so I figured I need a few good laughs.
