1) As an attorney, I routinely have to deal with attorneys on the opposite side of my case. I hate it when I lose my temper with them because they are rude or lie or speak down to me because I‘m a woman. I wish I could keep my cool and often I can. But sometimes I just lose it. 🤬

2) Griet is 16 and a new maid to artist Vermeer‘s family. She‘s struggling with the job and wants to go home even though she does the same work there.

I. I‘ve had a variety of jobs since I started working in 1966, but I retired from the last one - education director - in 2022. What I least liked was the job expectations of the higher authorities, and personnel turnovers.

It took me three tries before I found one that worked. I purchased one that burned my eyes, one that made me dizzy, then the third time was a charm.

It's actually my fault, I hadn't wanted to pay the $35. By the time I gave in, it is like I paid $54 (totaling all three glasses)...😂
